Sump pump fails
A good majority of Americans have sump pumps in their homes to pump out any water that may come in during a flood of some sort or a storm. The NE region of the country has been pounded with snow storms and rain this past winter season. There is so much ground water that the slightest of rainfall will begin to push the sump pumps to their max. These pictures show the pump itself that was overworked and then the carpet being peeled back to allow for proper drying techniques. At this point, air movers and a dehumidifier would put in place to continuously dry the room and hopefully salvage the carpet.
