Supply lines, literally, are the supply sources of water to homes. When they break or leak, they cause a lot of water to flood an area in a very short amount of time. Depending on where the line is, it can cause damage to multiple floors of the home. Thankfully, this unit was on the first floor with no basement to be concerned with so the damage was contained to the apartment itself . The first picture shows the line itself, while the second shows the carpets physically lifted up with air movers blowing under them and dehumidifiers to assist with the dry out.
